The following is a comprehensive list of scholarships that are currently available to A.C. Jones students. Please be advised that the list is updated frequently. BCJLHS Scholarship
Award Amount: Varies
Eligibility: Open to current 4H/FFA/FCCLA members who have participated in the BCJLHS and will graduate from high school in 2024
Deadline: April 5

Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers
Award Amount: Varies
Eligibility:
Be accepted or enrolled at an accredited university in Texas or Oklahoma and pursuing a degree program in agriculture or an agriculture-related program (Animal Science, Pre-Vet, Agribusiness, Range Management or Wildlife) and plan to work in the field of agriculture.
Be a citizen of the United States and a resident of the State of Texas or Oklahoma.
Be a member or sponsored by a member of the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association.
Have a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Transcripts from all colleges attended must be submitted. If currently a high school senior, please include high school transcript.
Demonstrate financial need.
Have a background that includes beef cattle production.

Jackson Albert Dudley
Award Amount: Varies
Eligibility:
Be accepted or enrolled at an accredited university in Texas and pursuing a degree program in an agriculture-related field and plan to work in the field of agriculture.
Be a citizen of the United States and a resident of the State of Texas.
Be a member or sponsored by a member of the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association.

Texas Farm Credit
Award Amount: $1,000 or $5,000
Eligibility:
Be a high school senior scheduled to graduate in 2024 (Note: children of employees or directors are not eligible)
Be a member of FFA or 4H
Reside in Texas Farm Credit’s 100-county territory (county drop down list below)
Upload a current high school transcript (official or unofficial)
Upload your current resume
Submit this application by January 15, 2024, at midnight
Upload a 1,000-word essay that answers one of the following questions:
How will you use your college degree to impact your community?
Why are you pursuing the career path you’ve chosen?

Bee Soil and Water- Conservation Essay Contest

Eligibility:
Ages 14-18
Typed Essay with the prompt: The subject for the 2023 Essay Contest is: “One Water”.
Must turn in to the Barnhart Office before 3 pm on 12/02/23 or deliver to the Bee SWCD Office at 1400 West Corpus Christi Street, Suite 9- Beeville, Texas
