Eligibility:

  • A high school senior

  • Open to African American, American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian & Pacific Islander American, and/or Hispanic American

National Space Club and Foundation Scholarship

Award Amount: $20,000

Eligibility:

  • The applicant must be a U.S. citizen.

  • The scholarship is open to seniors in high school through graduate students.

  • The applicant must have the intention of pursuing a career in the STEM fields and plan to attend an accredited U.S. college or university to follow a course of study to pursue a career in the STEM field, with a preference for those with space related interests.

  • The applicant can only use the $20,000.00 scholarship towards tuition for the 2025-2026 academic year.

  • The applicant must not have previously spoken at the Dr. Robert H. Goddard Memorial Dinner.

The Hagan Scholarship

The Hagan Scholarship

Award Amount: Up to $60,000

Eligibility:

  • Must graduate from a public, private charter, or STEM high school

  • Must be fluent in the English language.

  • Must be in the high school graduating class

  • Must achieve a 3.5 GPA

  • Must enroll in an eligible college or university the first semester following graduation

  • Must maintain a 4 year or less graduation schedule

  • Must work 240 hours from January 1, 2025 until September 1, 2025.

  • Applicants Adjusted Gross Household Income reported for 2023 Federal Income Tax Purposes must not have exceeded $100,000.

  • Must provide the first two pages of their FAFSA Submission Summary showing their Student Aid Index.

  • Must apply for Federal and State grants if eligible.

  • Must not have a felony conviction

Future Women in Law Scholarship

Award Amount: $1,000

Eligibility:

  • The scholarship is open to female high school senior, vocational student, college student or graduate students who are legal residents of the United States residing in one of the 50 states or the District of Columbia and who are enrolled in a vocational program or two-to-four-year post-secondary institution in 2025.
    • Begum Pelaez-Prada PLLC employees, their immediate families (parents, children, siblings, and spouses), and persons living in the same households of such individuals (whether related or not) are not eligible to participate in the competition.
    • Candidates for this scholarship should have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher and be in good overall academic standing.

  •  The contest is open to high school seniors.

  • Herrman & Herrman encourages creativity and innovation. In our 2023 scholarship program, we want to recognize five innovative students and three teachers who foster creativity in students.

  • To enter the scholarship contest, students should submit a creative entry via Tik Tok, Instagram, or YouTube (CLICK HERE FOR INSTRUCTIONS) addressing one of the following topics:

    •       Explain a family, social, or school situation in which your leadership made the difference. What was accomplished?

Create Real Impact

Award Amount: Varies

Eligibility:

  • The Create Real Impact Contest calls on students, ages 14-22, to showcase their positive solutions and strategies to stop the #1 killer of young people–car crashes caused by reckless and distracted driving.

  • Students submit one entry into one of two categories: Video or Graphic Design. Get local community champions involved, such as your local first responder agencies and elected officials, for another chance to win in the Community Champions Bonus Points category.

  • The high school campaign invites schools, classrooms, or student groups to showcase creative SOLUTIONS to the very real problem of distracted driving.  Create a 30-second PSA video, design graphics, and post on social media platforms to empower your community to help put a stop to reckless and distracted driving!
