Middle School

The Joe Barnhart Scholarship Program begins working with students in Middle School to lay a good foundation for thinking about their future.

Students participate in the following activities:

• Pop-A-Job: This puzzle-based activity allows students to learn about various occupations in a fun and interactive way.

• Career Scope: This career assessment tool allows students to gauge interest and aptitude with 16 potential options for career pathways.

• O’Net Workshop: allows students to explore careers and learn education requirements, potential salary, and opportunities for employment.

• Individual meetings with JBSP staff to determine class selection in high school based on their potential career of choice.
